Unique Scoring System

Every tipping competition on Robbie Striker scores points in the same way. It is a unique scoring system which affords you the opportunity to score either 3 (three), 2 (two), 1 (one) or 0 (zero) points per match. It is also a fair points system that ensures over the course of a season the most consistant tippers are in the top part of the table. However those who are brave can pick up plenty of bonus points and can put themselves into a position for tipping glory. Here is how the system works.

For every game you "pick" you can receive points in three areas with a maximum of 3 (three) points. If you correctly pick the winning team, you will receive 1 (one) point. If you pick the exact score as well, you will receive a bonus 2 (two) points, making a total of 3 (three) for a correctly picked score. In failing that if you pick the correct winning team and margin but not the exact score you will receive a bonus 1 (one) point making a total of 2 (two) points.

If you pick the wrong team, you will receive 0 (zero) points. If you pick the exact score or margin but get the winning team wrong, you will not receive any bonus points.

In order to receive any bonus points you must first pick the correct winning team.

If you pick one team to win and the result is a drawn match, you will receive 0 (zero) points. If you pick a drawn match and one side wins, you will receive no points.

If you correctly pick a drawn match you will receive 2 (two) points and if you have selected the correct score draw you will receive a bonus 1 (one) point making a total of 3 (three) points for that game.

In the event of Penalty Shootouts being used to determine the winner, 1 (one) goal will be added to the winning team so that score must be selected to receive all 3 (three) points. For example if Team A and Team B play the full 90 minutes and the extra time period and finish 3-3 with Team A winning on penalties, 4-3 will be the score points will be decided on.
